The device itself has 16 cm micro USB cable and has 2600mAh capacity.
For Android and IOS smartphones, TP-Link power bank promises up to 90% efficiency and has 500 discharge cycle. The device also has 6 phase protection system.
The size of the device in the cylindrical structure is 93.5mm and 25.6mm diameter. When you hold the device upright, the bottom part is made of flat matte plastic and the upper part is made of bright white plastic. Matte part is covered by TP-Link writing.
There is a green LED status light and a six-DNA power button on the surface. On the top of the device, you’ll find a 1A-capacity Micro USB for charging and a Type-A USB port for discharging.
At the bottom is the technical specifications and certificate information. The device looks tough and very firm in structure. The accompanying white colored MicroUSB cable is 16cm long, thin and highly flexible. The LED light is constantly on when the device is fully charged and flashes when the storage energy is low. The LED flashes while the device is charging. It’s bad that the LED notification light is the only one. It would have been better if there were 4 lights like the big brother, 6700mAh TP-Link TL-PBG6700 power bank.
Testing the TP-Link Power Bank on the Phones
We made some charging tests with the phones in my hand.
- The BlackBerry Q5 (Phone On, 4G active) filled up to 76% in 1 hour 42 minutes.
- The BlackBerry Q5 (Phone Off) filled up to 81% in 1 hour and 36 minutes.
- The iphone 5s (Phone Off) 100% fill in about 2 hours.
- Sterk Ultron X-1 filled up to 83% in 1 hour 35 minutes.
- It took 2 hours and 37 minutes with the BB Q5 charger.
- The Tp-link 10400 Power Bank 1A port was charging in 2 hours and 30 minutes.
- I was charging 2 hours 44 minutes with the iPhone adapter (1 Amp).
- 2 hours 48 minutes with HTC 1 Amp adapter.
TP-Link TL-PB2600 Design
The device is very easy to carry and looks nice. The cable coming from the inside is easy to use with its short and thin structure.
The heat of the device can be felt more close to the end. But its capacity is insufficient for current Android devices. If the capacity was slightly higher (over 3500+) it could have been better. I found the LED notification light on the deck to be inadequate. If there were 2 and 4 pieces, it could give proper information about the remaining capacity. It would have been more interesting if the split device had LED light characteristics like a big brother. I recommend it to the users of the phone (5, 5S, SE, 5C) due to its compact structure, output power and capacity.
