It’s been less than a month since LG officially introduced a new flagship smartphone named G6, but leaks are already all over the internet! The leaked LG G6 prototype confirms the dual camera and the fingerprint sensor are placed on the backside.
The first photos of the phone gave us a little more insight on what the LG G6 would look like. Now another leak has begun to occupy the agenda. This time, it looks like a real prototype unit is being displayed.
Obviously, a prototype unit may not be the same as the final product. Because large smartphone manufacturers test their variations before rolling their products into the market. Still, if the leaked prototype LG G6 is in its final state, we can say that there will be a dual camera on the back of the device and a fingerprint sensor just below.
When we look at the front of the phone, we see that it has very thin frames. The bottom is large enough to fit the LG logo on the front. It is possible to have a second LG logo on the back, but we can not see some parts of the prototype blurred in order to protect the leaker’s privacy. In addition, the bottom section shows that the phone has a USB Type-C port and a speaker.
We can not see the top side of the photos, but hopefully 3.5mm headphone jack is added there. According to previous reports, the LG G6 will come with a 5.7-inch display that supports Quad HD + (2880×1440 pixels) resolution.
As Samsung will be the first company to use the Snapdragon 835 processor, we know that the LG G6 will come with Qualcomm Snapdragon 821. At present, the amount of memory is unknown, but the device seems likely to be equipped with 4GB of RAM and 32 / 64GB of storage.
The last picture points out the metal frame of the phone. In addition, this photo shows the USB-C port and mono speaker output on the phone.
The LG G6 will be introduced on February 26th with an event to be held under MWC 2017.
