Saving Netflix Videos to Watch Later with Movavi Screen Capture

When you’re browsing through the library of video content on Netflix it can seem as though it is almost endless. With countless blockbuster movies, TV shows and even its fair share of exclusive content, Netflix will ensure that you always have something to watch whenever you want.

The only exception to that rule is the fact that if you’re offline you won’t be able to access and watch any Netflix videos due to the fact that they are streamed. Although that is ‘normal’, the fact that you can’t download and save videos to watch them later when you’re offline can be a bit inconvenient.

Instead of simply accepting that status quo however, with Movavi Screen Capture you can actually work your way around it. Essentially you can use it to download Netflix movies by recording them from your screen and then saving them on your PC.

More importantly Movavi Screen Capture will make it easy for you to do just that, and all it takes is a few steps to set it up:

  1. Launch Movavi Screen Capture and click on ‘Record screen’.
  2. Use the mouse cursor to draw a frame over the Netflix video that you want to save.
  3. Check that the ‘System Audio’ icon is highlighted in green so that audio from your speakers is recorded, and click it once if not.
  4. Click ‘REC’ to start recording after a 5 second delay, and play the Netflix video at the same time.
  5. Click ‘Stop’ when the video is done.
  6. Trim any unwanted parts from the video that was recorded by positioning the marker and using the ‘scissors’ icon to split it into segments, then select and delete the parts you don’t need using the ‘trash can’ icon.
  7. Click ‘Save as’ when you are satisfied, and choose a format or use one of the built-in presets to automatically optimize your video for a particular device or platform.

While that is all that you need to do in Movavi Screen Capture to set it up to record Netflix videos, it has a host of other options too. It will allow you to easily adjust the frame rate, choose to capture keyboard and mouse actions, tweak the audio levels, or even schedule the recording to start and stop automatically so you don’t need to babysit it.

With what you now know it should be a piece of cake for you to fire up Movavi Screen Capture and start saving your favorite Netflix videos. When you have a few minutes to spare, just experiment with its other features and you’ll get the hang of them in no time.
