Is Amazon Music a true Spotify alternative? Decide yourself with a free trial

Unlimited music streaming is a multi-billion dollar industry and Amazon seems quite decided to take a big cut of the pie.

Amazon Music, which allows you to listen to your favorite songs whenever and wherever you want, offers a 30-day free trial for those who would like to give it a try.

As you might already have guessed, the Amazon Music has a quite pretty and functional interface and its IOS / Android smartphone applications work very well without using much CPU and internet bandwidth.

Is it worth to switch from Spotify to Amazon Music just for 3 months free trial?

Well, in my humble opinion, if you are a free Spotify user, the user experience already is bad enough to stick with Spotify, continuously interrupting ads between the every other song, not being able to go offline and listen freely on mobile kills your mood and the joy of the music. So, basically, you don’t lose anything by going with the Amazon.

But, if you already a member of Spotify Premium, I don’t really think you have a solid reason to pick Amazon Music and close your Spotify account, other than saving a few dollars of course.

Wait, are you saying, you don’t have both and using Youtube to listen to the music? Well, this is so 2002!. Luckily both Amazon Music and Spotify have trial periods for those who never used a new generation music app before.

So, if we need to sum up the news, I highly suggest you give amazon music a free try.
